The Ace Awards is an annual event hosted by the Reno-Tahoe American Marketing Association (AMA). Now celebrating our 31st year, our goal of the Ace Awards is to recognize and acknowledge marketing excellence within our community.


In an effort to cover the costs of the event, we have had to add a small fee for submissions. We still believe in giving everyone a fair and equal chance at winning an Ace Award, which is why we have chosen to keep the fee as low as possible, at only $20 an entry. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to seeing all of the amazing work in the Reno-Tahoe area this past year!

Our Selection Process

We ask the Reno/Tahoe community to help crowdsource great examples of local marketing across 12 categories! The success of this event is 100% reliant on community involvement and support. Help us make this our best year yet!

After reaching out to all of the nominees and collecting additional detail about each of the nominated marketing initiatives, the Reno-Tahoe AMA board will vote to narrow down the total number of finalists to 36 entries across 12 categories.

The judging committee for this year’s event will be members of the Reno-Tahoe AMA Board, the Charleston, South Carolina AMA Board and the Denver, CO AMA Board. The judging process offers AMA members the unique opportunity to learn more about some of the area’s best examples of marketing, what made them effective, and why.
