Jimmy Beans Wool is an EDAWN success story and has been receiving national attention. Maybe you have seen them recently in the New York Times, Huffington Post or Redbook magazine.

Meet Laura Zander, co-founder of Jimmy Beans Wool, a Reno-based online wool and yarn store. She accidentally fell into the knitting business after beginning to knit as a hobby. She has come a long way since opening shop in 2002; and has since grown her annual revenue to more than $7 million. Jimmy Beans Wool has been named four times to the Inc. 500 Magazine’s List of Fastest Growing Private Companies inLaura_Headshot_HIRES the United States.

Laura will talk about the striking business partnerships she has made, like the Emmys and Stitch Mountain, and how those have garnered more discussion about her brand. She will talk about the obstacles many of us face in reaching our clientele through social media, and how she overcame that with a personal connection to her business. Lastly, she will talk about going the extra “yarnage” and creating memorable interactions with her customers. As she says “It’s very important to let customers know how appreciative we are of their support.”

Join us for some bundles of wisdom from Laura Zander! “It’s wool. You gonna make something of it?”
