Reno, NV (December 16, 2005) – The Reno-Tahoe chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) has partnered with Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada, and last week made a $1,000 donation to Junior Achievement during the AMA’s December luncheon.

David Archer, President of the Reno-Tahoe AMA, noted, “We chose to support Junior Achievement because it provides a means to reach out to the future business leaders of our community. Throughout 2006, we’ll be looking for ways to support the Junior Achievement both financially and with the marketing knowledge and skills that the AMA represents.”

Accepting the donation on behalf of Junior Achievement were Denise Moyle, special events & marketing coordinator, and Ben Nelson, Junior Achievement board member.

The Reno-Tahoe AMA has a policy of supporting business education in the local community. In addition to the recent support of Junior Achievement, the chapter awards yearly scholarships to members of the local student chapter of AMA.
