The Reno-Tahoe Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) presents Chris Guillebeau, New York Times best-selling author of The $100 Startup as the November luncheon speaker. Part of the AMA’s ongoing monthly luncheon series, this special speaker event is the official kick-off to Reno’s Startup week, culminating with Startup Weekend Reno on November 21 – 23. Chris Guillebeau is the author of The Happiness of Pursuit, The $100 Startup, and other non-conformist, entrepreneurship books. During a lifetime of self-employment, he visited every country in the world (193 in total) before his 35th birthday. Every summer in Portland, Oregon he hosts the World Domination Summit, a gathering of creative, remarkable people. At the Reno-Tahoe AMA luncheon, Guillebeau will discuss how to “put happiness in a box and sell it” by giving customers what they really want.
