About Britton Griffith

Britton Griffith currently sits as Vice President for Reno Engineering, a development services company celebrating over 23 years in Northern Nevada. Griffith is a proud 5th generation Nevadan, University of Nevada graduate with an emphasis in International Business and Law, she has 12 years of Business Development, marketing and leadership experience, Two-Years of sitting as a City of Reno Commissioner, founding member of the downtown Reno Partnership, and assisted in the development of Reno’s Master Plan.

Over the past decade Griffith has sat as a leader on more than 15 boards ranging from youth homelessness, to downtown beautification, and economic development. She was chosen as one of Reno’s top 150 most important people by the City of Reno, she was the recipient of the 20 under 40 awards by the areas Young Professionals Network & Reno Gazette Journal, selected as the Community Champion of the Year for the 2016 NACE Impact Awards. Her company was chosen as the Family Business of the Year by Nevada Business Magazine. In 2018 Griffith was selected as one of Northern Nevada Business Weekly’s Top 40 Most Powerful Women. She received the people’s choice for Best Creative Writer and Best Columnists by Reno News & Review, as well as the Community Service Award by the Girl Scouts of Northern Nevada. Griffith is also a community advocate, as well as a published author, and contributing writer to local and regional travel publications. Britton Griffith is currently running for Reno City Council Ward 1 and is passionate about protecting our neighborhoods.
