This luncheon we happily welcome Mark Estee, who will discuss how he turned the idea of a “whole hog” restaurant into a community spotlight. He will share how he built genuine relationships in the community, that led to a larger food movement in Reno. He will discuss the lessons he learned about connecting with your customers first hand, in better and worse, and his creative marketing that made him a Reno staple and a national contender.
Mark Estee is driven by a love for authentic ingredients that create true connections between land, farmer, food and diner. He is the current chef/owner of Campo Reno, owner of Burger Me, and the former owner of Moody’s Bistro and Lounge in Truckee. Estee emphasizes passion, energy and learning in all he does. He focuses on sharing his restaurant’s success with the community at large, working with local causes and regularly sharing his business ideas with Reno business owners. Communications through innovative social media practices at his Reno restaurant have drawn rave reviews.
