Online branding is more than designing the best possible MySpace Page. You have to resize the logo to “thumbnail dimensions” create a favicon, convert all colors over to web safe, change all instances of “dazzle” to “shizzle”, write a really cool flash intro and you”re set. Sure that”s how it”s done…

To effectively translate offline brands to an online audience takes a lot more than manipulating pixels dimensions and switching everything over to a sans serif font.

Join us for a conversation with Rob Bynder, Stanley Hainsworth and Gene Keenan and moderated by David LaPlante, about creating effective and powerful online brands. We”ll talk about interactivity, user interface design, usability, metrics as well as proper use of web lingo such as Profile, favicon and “shizzle”.

Cocktails and finger foods at 6pm. Discussion starts at 7pm.
