As the only accredited art museum in Nevada, the Museum of Art has a large responsibility to not only serve the local community, but also the national and international as well. Rachel Milon will be sharing how the museum marketing maintains a cohesive message, while attracting different demographics and different geographical regions. She will explain how the museum overcomes the challenge of creating an inclusive environment, without pandering or diluting their message.
Our Speaker: Rachel Milon, Nevada Museum of Art
Rachel is the Director of Marketing and Communications at the Nevada Museum of Art. Before finding the museum she found herself traveling across the country, and in London working at a PR firm. Inevitably, she was called back home to Reno. She splits her time fostering local and regional awareness with creating national and international appeal. You probably have seen the museum’s most recent campaigns highlighted in the community- like the Van Gogh exhibit.
