About Ellen:

Ellen Treanor, MAPC, AVP Brand Strategy, is best known for branding, reputation building, and crisis protection and mitigation. With 25 years in marketing from fortune 10 multi-nationals to nonprofits, she is able to build and scale cross-functional teams and turnaround organizations struggling to move from traditional marketing and PR to digital.

Her last turnaround was reversing 12 years of declining enrollments at a four-year public university. With measurable increases in brand reputation, she increased overall enrollment 34% in four years. Her initiatives included an experts directory, email strategy, content marketing, national media coverage, marketing research, digital and social marketing with storytelling to inspire and persuade. She produced three video series and over 100 marketing videos.

At AT&T, she launched the first strategic partnership in high technology (semiconductors) between Bell Labs and a high tech start-up. Her global position at AT&T demanded extensive travel to southeast Asia and Europe building teams in marketing, operations, and manufacturing.

She gives back by teaching graduate and undergrad classes in marketing, public relations, advertising, social media, impression management, crisis management, critical thinking, and visual communication, as well as won several awards for marketing, recruitment, video production, and social media engagement.
