A regional expert in social media, Caren is the Digital Marketing Strategist at DailyStory. Prior to DailyStory, Caren worked as the Sierra Nevada Media Group's director of content and also in several positions at the Reno Gazette-Journal over 11 years, including audience analyst, digital editor and social media manager. She teaches a media design lab at the Reynolds School of Journalism and also serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council. Caren is the owner of Kaia FIT Sierra, a three-location women's fitness program, which helped her lose 100 pounds in 2011--a journey that kicked off her own personal branding evolution.
